TIER 1 EXCEPTIONAL TALENT VISA

The Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa is designed for those who have already achieved, or have the potential to achieve, status at the highest level in their field of work or knowledge, either in the arts, engineering or sciences.

Applicants must have been appropriately endorsed by one of the following British organisations: Arts Council England, The British Academy, The Royal Society, The Royal Academy of Engineering or Tech City UK. These visa applications are limited to 1,000 per year.

Tier 1 Exceptional Talent migrants may be able to acquire indefinite leave to remain after five years.

There is no English language requirement for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa applicants, but there is an English language requirement when making an application for indefinite leave to remain.
